Road Infrastructure – This is a point that is not always held seriously because there is a tendency among drivers to blame the infrastructure for the crash. However studies in countries like UK and the USA have revealed that the design and the making of the roads have also contributed to road accidents.

Vehicle Safeguards – Road traffic accidents have often been caused by the lack of vehicle maintenance and the non-functioning of important components like the brakes. Passengers and drivers are also not cautious about the use of seatbelts that could prevent severe accidents.
